品牌由來
一段感人的孝親故事發生於清朝康熙乾隆年間。縣令楊孝廉母親積勞成疾，久咳不癒，孝廉以孝親感動名醫葉天士贈以蜜煉川貝枇杷膏治愈楊太夫人的頑疾。
多年後，楊太夫人臨終囑咐楊孝廉廣製蜜煉川貝枇杷膏造福人群。在北京設廠的楊孝廉，為紀念母親恩澤，將膏定名為「京都念慈菴蜜煉川貝枇杷膏」，並以孝親圖為商標。
其後，楊氏後人因戰亂輾轉南遷到香港，將之托付謝兆邦先生悉心經營。謝先生於1946年在港創立京都念慈菴總廠有限公司，於香港生產京都念慈菴蜜煉川貝枇杷膏，將之發揚光大，並研製多元化的優質草本產品系列。

Bulbus Fritillariae Cirrhosae is one of the most widely used ingredients within traditional Chinese herbs. However, its supply and quality are highly unstable. To ensure a sustainable and pollution-free quality harvest, Nin Jiom grows Bulbus Fritillariae Cirrhosae on the Qinghai-Tibetan plateau at an altitude of 3,800 meters.

in Hong Kong
The Nin Jiom headquarters is located in Hong Kong. As one of the largest herbal manufacturers in Hong Kong, Nin Jiom is responsible for the production, management and worldwide marketing of Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa. Its modern factory ensures utmost hygiene with state-of-the-art machineries and equipment of international standards, which includes a medicine preparation room, automatic filling and capping machines, and a quality control centre.
Scientific Research and Production Centre in Taiwan
The Nin Jiom factory in Taiwan is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and employs the latest techniques for water extraction and low-temperature vacuum technology for granulation to eliminate impurities and pollutants. This ensures the highest standards for the production of all products. The factory has been awarded the prestigious Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) mark.
